No, if you try to run it again, it just tells the existing copy to open

No it isn't. The AACDs didn't originally use the full AWeb, so the
creation of the directory wasn't conditional. As long as you use
something like HappyENV or env-handler., it only takes up a few K of
disk space and no memory.
