| Subject: | Tweaking monitors under OS3.9? |
Hi,
Got my 23-pin->15 pin adaptor today so got the M1438 up & running. 1stly the
VGA connector seems to be a bit flakey as I intermittently lose some guns,
will have to check the soldering sometime. Are there any Amiga-specific
things I don't know that might be causing this apart from possible bad
soldering/broken wires?
Main question though, what can I use to tweak monitor settings under OS3.9.
I've got 1438Hack, 1942PatchAGA and so on (loads!). All fail "Can't load
your tool XYZ" as if monitor drivers have changed somewhat from 3.5 up? At
the mo' I have a large grey border at the left of DblPal screens which
Overcan prefs will not adjust. If it's a case of "so be it" its ok 'cos I
got the monitor for nowt, I could use Multiscan Prod. in that case 'cos the
border is less.
