Subject:[D5] Commands & Icon Menu

Hi All,

I've encountered my first seemingly unsolvable problem with 5.82 and would
be grateful for any help.

I have a filetype set for .wav files and in the icon menu, want to put a
command to normalize the sample. From a shell, the command is:
Normalize DH1:track1.wav (which uses the default settings).

I've tried:
AmigaDOS Normalize {f} and

AmigaDOS cd{s}
AmigaDOS Normalize {o} as well as a few other combinations, but all I get is
"Normalize failed returncode 161"

Any ideas why it works from a shell but not from the icon menu?

The only failures SnoopDOS shows are:
(You need textstyles off to read it correctly)

Count Process Name Action Target Name Options Res.
----- ------------ ------ ----------- ------- ----
31 [14] normalize *Lock * Read Fail
32 [14] normalize #LOC_OBJEC 205D483, 26EC4FC, FFFFFFF DH1 Fail

which to me seems to mean that normalize can't lock the file.

Chris.
