Hi,
After sending the message I added this to "user startup" and now Dopus
launches workbench programs:
assign C: boot:dopus5/c/ ADD
Maybe the line "path dopus5: c add" was missing something or mistyped.

Cannot launch a program from a button or a menu if it is specified as
"workbench". By setting "output to window" and a "close window button"
the following is displayed following an unsuccessful launch:

User startup reads:
