LFRS is a simulated racing
series that uses Grand Prix 2 by Spectrum Holobyte-MicroProse.
How does it work? About every
two weeks, the settings and details for the next event will be posted, on both the web
page and the mailing list. Download these settings and configure the game to those
settings for the division you wish to compete in(see below). You then run your race,
noting the correct information specified below and submit that information via the web
form by the specified deadline for that event. After the deadline passes, the results for
all those that sent in results will be compiled and ranked by laps completed and race
time.
Points are awarded for each
event, and the driver that amasses the most points over the 16 events will be crowned the
champion for his/her respective division. There is also a team championship, in which the
sum of two drivers points are added to determine the champion, as well as a FastLap title,
in which the driver who consistantly sets the best qualifying and race laps wins this
title. |
