These are all cut from emails I've been sent. I haven't been selective -
I've literally just included all the comments I've had. (Which fortunately
have been nice comments!)
;-)
Still, I'm not sitting on my laurels. There are loads of things I can think of to add to these pages - not least lots more reviews! I'm continuing to add to the pages whenever I have the time! So keep connecting every so often, please!
A brilliant page - especially the news which is much more up to date than any of the magazines!
Just a quick comment, since you claim you want them..
I'm using NetScape on a PC (spit) at the moment, with images
switched off. OK, graphics are nice, but it always takes
ages to go anywhere with them switched on. Yes, yes, get to
the point, I hear you cry. Well, your pages are very
promising, but if you could put some text next to a graphic
link (eg. the four graphics on the 'new additions' page) then
I would know what the link is for before I follow it..
Just a suggestion.
I liked your homepage, very nice!
PS: Your mailto thing doesn't seem to be working!
Reply: `mailto:' isn't recognised by all browsers. Eg. mosaic doesn't
understand it (despite having a `mail to' menu option!), but netscape
does.
Hi there, I've just seen your web page for Acorn games. Well done and keep up the good work!
Hiya, Good to see a WWW page dedicated to Acorn Games! :) Congrats..
I've just been reading your acorn game web pages and I'm dead impressed!
Lots of good stuff on those!
[..]
Keep up the good work!
I looked at the pages a while ago and thought `Crap...' I've just had another look It's completly different not to mantion excellent.
All these game pages are nice, but... What I keep missing is a corner where games programmers can shop around. I mean something like games algorithms, stories about the construction of particular games (like the Burn out WWW pages), tips from the people who know about it and things like that. So a page which contains information about how to make games instead of how to play them and how thwy look
Looks good this one - one of the better laid out WWW pages Ive seen (and I have seen a lot :-)) Its nice to see some more Archimedes pages appearing on the Web. Generally the lay out is fine, and loading speed is not a problem from this site (at cam.ac.uk). Whether you wish to have page in competition with the other major Archie game page, or whether you wish to pool resources is your own choice - hey, variety is nice!
Just a brief line to say I liked the page.
