Quietus
This Wavelength-like game has now been abandoned, joining the
long tradition of Acorn games that just never quite were, which is a shame since
the early version I
played had a fair amount of potential. The authors now have
jobs and other commitments, so whilst it's not completely certain that the game
will never be completed, it looks distinctly unlikely.
Pinball
Matthew van Delden's Pinball game had looked like being
an extremely good version of the popular money-wasting activity, with very
convincing ball movement. Unfortunately, Matthew has moved onto other things now
(programming PCs in fact - which makes sound business sense), so we'll never
see this game. And that's a fact. It's also a real shame.
