The Status Gidget

• The Status Gidget installs one Permanent Icon, and three functions: Mute, Volume, and Status Help (this file). All three do pretty much what you'd expect! Mute turns off the sound, Volume displays a volume slider, and Help shows this file.
• To dismiss the Volume control, either select it again, or tap anywhere else on the screen.
• The icon shows three status areas: Battery, Mute, and Connect.
• The Battery Status will show yellow when charging, and blue when fully charged. When the PPC is disconnected from AC power, it will show remaining battery life in green, with the used fraction shown in red.
