The main window is what you see, when you start CloneCD. It has been kept small, so it doesn't get in the way if you have several other windows open on your desktop.
The Main Window has four Buttons and several Menu Items.
These are the four buttons, where you tell CloneCD what to do:
Just click on any button above to get further information.
This is the "Read" button. When you press this button, you can read from a CD-ROM and write its content into an image file. If you press this button, the Settings Window will open, where you can specify from which device you want to read, which image file to use, etc.
The Menu Item File - Read to File ... does the same.
This button is inoperative, if no CD-ROM was found.
This is the "Write" button. When you press this button, you write to a CD-Writer from an image file. If you press this button, the Settings Window will open, where you can specify from which image file you want to read, which CD-Writer to use, etc.
The Menu Item File - Write from File ... does the same.
This button is inoperative, if no CD-Writer was found.
This is the "Copy" button. When you press this button, you can copy from a CD-ROM to a CD-Writer. An Image file will be used as a temporary storage.
