Closes a menu window. This menu command is enabled only while a menu window is at the front.
Quit
Quits the customizer.
Always disabled and you cannot use this menu command.
Cut
Cuts the selected text in the editing text field and put it to the Clipboard.
Copy
Copies the selected text in the editing text field to the Clipboard.
Paste
Pastes text from the Clipboard to the insertion location in the editing text field.
Clear
Deletes the selected text in the editing text field.
Select All
Selects all the text in the editing text field.
Copy Properties
Copies information of properties of the currently editing menu item to the Clipboard*. This command is enabled while the properties dialog box is at the front.
You can paste the copied information onto the same dialog box (for other menu item) by the Paste Properties command. Of course, you can paste the data onto a Scrapbook document to stock it.
* | The data types of the data are text ('TEXT') and Apple event record ('reco') so that you can also use the data for the scripting purpose if you could retrieve the Apple event record from the Clipboard. |
Pastes information of properties of a menu item onto the dialog box for menu item properties. This command is enabled while the properties dialog box is at the front and the Clipboard contains the data of the proper types.
This command will be useful to make multiple menu items with the similar properties. You can also use it to move a menu item to other location (until the customizer supports drag-and-drop features for moving.)
Arranges open windows from the origin of the Menu Bar window.
Update All
Updates contents of all the open windows.
This menu command is usually in no use. But if you changed menus or menu items via the scripting features of the QuoEdit during execution of the customizer, the actual menu structure of the QuoEdit may not correspond to the currently opened menu windows of the customizer. In such case, use this menu command.*

Selects the previous window in the listed windows if any.
Next
Selects the next window in the listed windows if any.
Menu Bar
Selects the Menu Bar window.
