What to do:

If the movie is on a floppy disk, copy it to your hard disk. Most movies do not play properly from a floppy disk. 

If the movie depends on parts of other movies that are on a floppy disk, it will not play properly. 

Choose Save As from the File menu and click the button labeled Make Movie Self-Contained.
