This is the free 'Lite' version of WhoIsNot, an Internet directory search utility designed to help you look up domain names. With a browser-like interface, WhoIsNot is a convenient way to search multiple directories. NOTE: The Mac programs on this CD are mostly in archived 'HQX' (BinHex) files – they can be extracted with several applications, including Stuffit Expander (which is on the CD...). Clicking on the links below should set the process in motion. You may receive a message that the file cannot be loaded into Simple Text – if so, start Stuffit and then open the HQX file you want from within Stuffit.

GoMac is a control panel which settles the score with Windows users...(hmmm) GoMac makes the Macintosh way of doing things friendlier and more efficient, mainly through the Program Bar. GoMac is OS 8.5 compatible.

The intuitive Program Bar, reminiscent of the Win9x Task Bar, means just a simple click is all that is needed to switch programs. Documents can be dropped onto open programs. Support for Apple's Control Strip technology gives the program bar unlimited expandability. And Contextual Menus (available even in System 7) provide for on-the-fly customization, including program specific layer control.

GoMac does not obscure other windows by floating across them like some utilities. It is either located at the bottom of your screen in its own space or can be configured to 'Auto Hide'.

Installation: You must connect to the Internet before starting the installation and registration procedure. Extract the installation program to your hard disk by clicking on the links above, then, once you are online and all other applications are shut down, run the installation program. As part of the installation process you will follow instructions to register as an ICQ user on the ICQ servers (it's free).
