Info Box

The Info Box palette provides you nothing but information on color values and coordinates of pixels beneath the pointer. If you're using a selection tool, the Info Box palette also enables you to measure size and distance.

  • Do View > Palettes > Info Box to display the palette.

  • X - Y coordinates

The Info Box displays the x and y coordinates of the pointer’s position within the current image using the units of measurement you specify.

  • Width and Height

Width and Height values stand for the size of the current selection. If there's no selection you naturally have no values.

To change units settings for the X/Y and W/H infos, open the small options drawer (arrow icon) and select another unit :

  • Color informations

With Photonyx you can have simultanously informations for the current pixels in two different color models. You may want to have the Info Box palette to display simultaneously the RGB and CMYK values. To select between RGB, HSL, CMYK and Grayscale color modes do  choose in the options drawer :

Actual Color is a simple shortcut to display a set of values in the current color mode of the project.

Total Ink is for displaying the total percentage of all CMYK ink beneath the pointer.

Opacity gives you the opacity of the pixel at the pointer’s current location in the current object (the selected one in the object palette).
