----------------------

I live in Humppila, Finland and I'm 20 years old. Currently i'm studying at a place called "Voionmaan opisto".
After my studies I will be a cameraman or such in productions for TV or "the big screen".

I've used computers for eleven years now. I started in 1988 with the c64 which after 4 years changed into an Amiga 500. It was replaced after two years by Amiga 1200. After four years of owning an Amiga I decided it was time to buy an up-to-date computer and spent a lot of money to buy a new PC set which sadly came obsolete after a year.

The only part of my computer set to survive _all_ the changes of computer brands and models is my Quickshot II Turbo joystick which I use even today to play old c64 -classics. I bought it for 10$ at a local computer supplier in 1988 and it hasn't got a fault whatsoever so far (better knock on wood =).

During my spare time; making music, homepages or playing games, I usually listen to YELLO, Depeche Mode, Dire Straits and Frank Sinatra. They're my all-time favourites and give good ideas and they get you in a good mood when trying to do some creative work.. for example homepages. In some of my tunes, not necessarily those on these pages, the mentioned artists influence can be heard sometimes in form of samples or sometimes in the way the music acts.

I've done music since the days of c64 but on the PC I haven't got that much experience. I'm still eagerly waiting for the final official sales release of OctaMED Soundstudio for PC as I really liked it on the Amiga. I've spent time on growing my soundbank from several sources since I got myself an Amiga and the original OctaMED. For other kind of samples (like the analog 303 -samples) I use, for example, Rebirth which is a revolutionary piece of programming. It also has a better user-interface than several major Windows applications :). So does the FastTracker too.

Quite recently I bought several c64's and disk drives etc. The very low price and value of old C= equipment enables me to buy the set-up I always dreamed of when I was a kid. The remixes of my favourite c64 tunes also belong to my catalog of nostalgia.

They represent my memories from the 8-bit world in a new way.
