The beginning...
He was born on 22. Februar 1905 in Jünkerath, was a student for Maschinenwesen and Elektrotechnik from 1923 - 1926 at the FH. Gießen. In 1933 he became the title Doctor Dr. rer. pol. After his studie he make a contract with the company Stadler (Technisch-wissenschaftliches Büro). With the beginn of the Thirties, Karl Daniel find many solutions for his telefon-answering-mashines.
About this construction, he thaught about a recording and playback- mashine for voice and sound.
After the first problems, he find a way to change the soundwalz into an endless soundtape. This endless soundtape could be run with a cristal picup-system.
To the "Radioexibition" on 1936 in Berlin, Karl Daniel present the first "Tefiphon"for recording and playback and the "Teficord" only for playback..
