German-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce / EKONID Online

The German-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry - called EKONID - was re-established in 1970 by German and Indonesian entrepreneurs to represent their mutual interests and to promote the bilateral cooperation. EKONID [Ekonomi Indonesia-Jerman] has the status of a German Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abroad (Auslandshandelskammer, or AHK), and is officially recognized by the federal authorities and leading organizations in Germany.

In the quarter-century of its existence EKONID has developed into a provider of a wide and varied range of services, far surpassing its original trade promotion aims. It serves 600 members and more than 6.000 clients every year.

EKONID is a non-profit organization in accordance with the Indonesian law. Members are German and Indonesian companies, economic organizations, and private individuals. However, non-members are invited as well to ask for EKONID's services.
