If you computer runs Windows Vista:

On the Windows Start menu, click Network. |

The Network window appears:

Right-click your Thomson Gateway (displayed as Thomson TGXXX). |

If you are currently: |

Connected to the Internet, click Disable to disconnect from the Internet. |

Not connected to the Internet, click Enable to connect to the Internet. |
Proceed as follows:

On the Windows Start menu, click (Settings >) Control Panel. |

The Control Panel window appears. |

The Network Connections window appears;

If you right-click the Internet Connection icon, you can connect/disconnect your connection to the Internet. |
To prevent that users can connect/disconnect you can enable Extended Security. For more information, see Configuring UPnP on the Thomson Gateway.
