A new shoot-em-up called Quazer Wars has just been announced by a company called Light Designs.

I don't have much info about the game at the moment but there is a demo on Aminet from which you can guage what the game is like. The game boasts some exciting features some of which can be seen on the list below :-

• Smooth Multiscroll
• 50 frames per second and ANY Amiga
• Intelligent Enemies
• Loads of missions
• Excellent graphics and Music
• Works on any Amiga with 1Mb
• Coded in assembly language

The game gives you a top down view of your ship and the landscape. It is your job to complete various missions by blowing things up, colecting items etc.

After a quick go of the demo the game seems quite good, the strolling is very smooth, although it is prone to the odd slowdown now and then.

Hopefully I will have a more info and maybe a preview of this game soon
