Alternatively, you can use the Uninstall WhereIsIt icon in WhereIsIt's Start menu program group, if one was created during installation. INSTALL TROUBLESHOOTING ======================= WhereIsIt? needs to have COMCTL32.DLL updated to version 5.00.2614.3600 or newer in order to run properly. As updating this system library is rarely needed nowdays, WhereIsIt no longer ships with this update included in the download package, but it can be downloaded separately if required. WhereIsIt's setup program will check if COMCTL32.DLL needs to be updated; if so, it will not allow installation to proceed until update is successfully in place. If you need to update your COMCTL32.DLL library, Microsoft provides update installation package, which can be downloaded either directly from Microsoft, or from WhereIsIt's home page: Download from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/ieplatform/ie/comctrlx86.asp Download from WhereIsIt web site: http://www.whereisit-soft.com/download.html To update, just run the downloaded 50COMCTL.EXE update file, and reboot computer when so requested.
