He is one of filmdom's finest comic actors. Come to think of it, so is she. But while Steve Martin's 1991 hits-blitz (L.A. Story, Father of the Bride, Grand Canyon) has given him ample opportunity to stop and smell the grosses, Goldie Hawn had to overcome appearances in the decidedly unthrilling thriller Deceived and the romance/comedy/adventure Bird on a Wire--the bird in question turning out to be the one that gobbles. Now Hawn hopes to bring down the house with Housesitter, in which she plays a con artist who commandeers the home--and ultimately the life--of architect Martin. Producer Brian Grazer calls it "a funny Fatal Attraction."
