About the DVD

The complete DVD covers all aspects of the matchmoving pipeline from 2D tracking and calibration, right through to placing the camera in an environment and delivering the final scene. Tim uses a variety of software packages for this lecture including Maya, boujou, MatchMover and After Effects.

Tim Dobbert has over eight years experience in the industry including work as a matchmover, animator and technical director. His credits include Hellboy, Sin City, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, as well as numerous commercial and television projects. He is the author of the first and only book on the subject, 'Matchmoving: The Invisible Art of Camera Tracking'.
