These drivers are not supported by Hercules. Random flashing polygons in Direct3D games and applications such as BattleZone, 3D Winbench 98 and others have been eliminated. 2. Tiling problems have been fixed; for example the Windows 98(high color) screen saver now displays correctly when stretched fullscreen, the menus in MotoCross Madness now display properly, and other games and applications that exhibited display anomalies should be improved by this fix. 3. Trees and other scenery are now displayed properly in the Need for Speed 3 (Corvette) demo. 4. Intel IBASES 1.7 AGP Texturing Test no longer hangs on VIA MVP3 systems when zooming in or out. 5. This driver requires DirectX 6 and Terminator BEAST BIOS version K3D or later for proper operation. See above for the location of DirectX 6 on Microsoft's web site. BEAST BIOS K3D may be downloaded from http://www.hercules.com/support/drivers/term/tbeast/. Known Limitations ================= 1. Intro videos on BattleZone and Microsoft Flight Simulator 98 are played compressed at the top of the screen. As a workaround, install Microsoft DirectVideo. 2. Pressing Alt-Tab multiple times while running Quake 2 or GLQuake may cause a crash. 3. G-Police main menu may smear after returning from gameplay. To avoid this problem, disable anti-aliasing in the G-Police graphics options screen. *** End of File ***
