Create a network place
Before you can create a Web folder, you should see your system administrator for the URL of a Web server
that you can save files to.
From your Desktop
- In My Network Places, double-click Add Network Place.
- Follow the instructions in the Add Network Place Wizard.
From within
Microsoft Windows Explorer
- In Windows Explorer, click My Network Places under Folders,
double-click Add Network Place and follow the instructions in the Add
Network Place Wizard.
From within Microsoft Access

Do one of the following:
- On the File menu, click New to display the New File task pane.
- In the Open dialog box (File menu), select My
Network Places under Look in.
- In the Save As dialog box (File menu),
type in the name of the data access page, select My
Network Places under Save in.
- Double-click Add Network Place
, select Create a new Network Place,
click Next, and then follow the instructions in the Add Network Place Wizard.
