Microsoft Outlook supports forms stored using four file formats.
The Outlook Form Template (.oft) format is commonly used to back up a form while itÆs being designed, or to move a form from one computer to another without publishing it. You can use the CreateItemFromTemplate method to open this form file in a program.
The message (.msg) format is often used to save mail messages or other items as files.
The CFG and FDM formats are associated with forms created for the Microsoft Exchange Client. When you use Microsoft Exchange, Outlook can install these forms. Outlook supports these forms for backward compatibility only; you cannot modify these forms using Outlook.
