Download an IMAP folder list

Downloading an IMAP folder list displays all folders that are created with your account on the server. You can then select which folders you want to subscribe to or view on your computer.

To display the folders when you want to subscribe or unsubscribe 

1. Under Tools, click IMAP Folders.
2. Click Query.

To display the folders in the Microsoft Outlook Folder List

• Under Tools, point to Send/Receive, then click Update Folder List.

Note   In the IMAP Folders dialog box (Tools menu, IMAP Folders command), if the When displaying hierarchy in Outlook, show only subscribed folders check box is selected, then only the folders you are subscribed to will display when you download folders.
