Turn German post-reform rules for spell checking on or off

The feature described in this Help topic is available only if support for German is enabled through Microsoft Office Language Settings. In addition, you must also install the German spelling dictionary, which is available in Microsoft Proofing Tools.

1. From the main Microsoft Outlook window, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Spelling tab.
2. In the Language list, click the German language dictionary you want to use.
3. Select the Use German post-reform rules box.

Note  When you change the setting in Outlook, it also changes the setting in Microsoft Word, and vice versa.
