Change the way a timeline looks

1. In timeline view, click the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View.
2. Click Other Settings.
3. Select the options you want. 

Note  To change the amount of time shown on the timeline, in timeline view, click Day, Week, or Month.
