I received a message with an attachment, but I can't see or open the attachment

Why can't the recipient of my message open my attachment?

I made changes to an attachment but I don't see my changes now.

I copied an item with an attachment, but the attachment is missing from my new item.

When you copy an item that contains an attachment, the attachment is not copied. Instead, a shortcut to the original item appears in the body of the new item (with the exception of notes, do not support shortcuts or copying attachments). To open the attachment in the original item, double-click the shortcut in the new item to display the original item, and then double-click the attachment icon.

My attachment does not print.

Attachments will print only from the default printer. For example, if you have printer A set as the default, and you open a message with an attachment and choose to print the e-mail from printer B, the message will be sent to printer B, but the attachment will go to printer A.
