Align objects

1. Select the objects you want to align.
2. Do one of the following:

   Align or distribute objects relative to the slide

   1. On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw, and then point to Align or Distribute.
   2. Do one of the following:

      • If Relative to Slide is selected, click the alignment option you want.

      • If Relative to Slide isn't selected, click it, click Draw again, point to Align or Distribute, and then click the option you want.

   Set coordinates for objects relative to slide corner or center

   1. On the Format menu, click the command for the type of object you selected ù for example, AutoShape or Picture ù and then click the Position tab.
   2. Select the Top Left Corner or Center for the horizontal and vertical anchors in the From boxes, and then enter the distances from the anchors in the Horizontal and Vertical boxes.

   Align objects by their edges

   Aligning objects may cause them to stack on top of each other. Make sure objects are positioned relative to one another the way you want before executing the command.

   1. Select the objects you want to align.
   2. On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw, point to Align or Distribute, and then click one of the following options:
      • Align Top
      • Align Bottom
      • Align Left
      • Align Right

   Align objects horizontally or vertically

   The Align Middle command aligns objects horizontally through the middle of the objects. The Align Center command aligns objects vertically through the centers of the objects.

   1. Select the objects you want to align.
   2. On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw, point to Align or Distribute, and then click Align Middle or Align Center .
