Turn background printing on or off

1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Print tab.
2. Under Printing options, select or clear the Background printing check box.

Note   When Background Printing is on, you can continue to work while you print. Background printing uses additional system memory. To speed up printing, clear the Background printing check box.
