Create a smooth start or finish for animated text and objects

The item must already have an animation applied to it before you can complete this process.

1. If the Custom Animation task pane is not displayed, on the Slide Show menu, click Custom Animation.
2. In the Custom Animation task pane, click the down arrow on the item in the Custom Animation list, and then click Effect Options.
3. On the Effect tab, under Settings, select either one or both of the Smooth start or Smooth end check boxes.

Note   This option is not available for some animations.
