Set up a program to open during a presentation

You can open any other program you have ù for example, Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Paintbrush ù during a slide show. The program opens outside Microsoft PowerPoint; it isn't embedded in the presentation.

  1. On the slide, select the text or object you want to use to open the program.
  2. On the Slide Show menu, click Action Settings.
  3. Do one of the following:
  4. Click Run program, and then type the path or click Browse to find the program you want to open.

Tip

To preview how your macro will run during the slide show, click Slide Show at the lower left of the PowerPoint window.
