Merge or split cells in a table

Use this process to modify Microsoft PowerPoint tables. Use the source program's Help for information about modifying tables that were created with another program.

1. If the Tables and Borders toolbar is not displayed, click Tables and Borders on the Standard toolbar.

2. Do one of the following:
   • To merge cells, click Eraser , and then click the cell boundaries you want to remove. 
   • To split a cell, select the cell, and then click Split Cell.

Tip

• To merge multiple cells, select them and click Merge Cells.
