Set up a macro to run during a presentation

You can record a macro in Microsoft PowerPoint, or you can create it in the Microsoft Visual Basic Editor.

  1. On the slide, select the text or object you want to use to run the macro.
  2. On the Slide Show menu, click Action Settings.
  3. Do one of the following:
  4. Click Run macro, and then select the macro you want from the list.

Tip

To preview how your macro will run during the slide show, click Slide Show at the lower left of the PowerPoint window.
