Hide the notes pane or outline pane for a Web presentation

Use this procedure for a presentation that is published as a Web page or a Web archive. You must have other navigation controls (for example, action buttons) for the presentation to run without having the slide navigation option turned on.

  1. In Microsoft PowerPoint, open the Web presentation you want.
  2. On the File menu, click Save as Web page.
  3. Do one of the following:

    Hide both the outline and the notes panes

    1. Click Publish, and then click Web Options.
    2. On the General tab, clear the Add slide navigation controls check box.

    Hide only the notes pane

  4. Click Publish.

Tip

You can also temporarily hide or show the outline or notes for a presentation that has been published, when you view the presentation in a browser.
