Specify a chat URL for a broadcast

This setting applies to all broadcasts from a particular computer, not just to the presentation you are preparing to broadcast. You should check this setting before broadcasting each time, to ensure that it reflects your preference for that broadcast session.

1. Open the presentation you want to broadcast.
2. On the Slide Show menu, point to Online Broadcast, and then click Settings.
3. On the Advanced tab, in the Audience feedback area, type the chat server address in the URL for the audience chat room field (for example, mic://servername/%23roomname).
4. Click OK to save the setting.

Note   Microsoft PowerPoint does not check the validity of the URL or chat server.
