Troubleshoot packaging a presentation and using the PowerPoint Viewer

I'm unable to run the Pack and Go Wizard.

• You must have a presentation open in Microsoft PowerPoint to make the Pack and Go command on the File menu available.
• The Pack and Go Wizard in Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 will not run on Microsoft Windows 3.1 or Windows 95. However, the packaged setup file can be unpackaged on a computer that's running Windows 95.

The PowerPoint Viewer would not open my presentation.

The Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer will not run password-protected presentations, nor can you package the viewer (in the Pack and Go Wizard) with a presentation that's password-protected. If you need to show a password-protected presentation, you need to show it in PowerPoint. If you must show it by using the viewer, save it without using a password.
