Troubleshoot translation and translation dictionaries

I don't see the language dictionary I want.
The Dictionary box in the Translate task pane displays the language dictionaries that are available on your computer. If the dictionary you want is not available, you may need to install it by using the Microsoft Office Setup Wizard, or obtain it from the Microsoft Office XP Proofing Tools. The translation tool doesn't offer as much information as I wanted.
The translation tool in Microsoft Word is intended to offer basic translation for words and phrases. For more comprehensive or lengthy translation, use the Translate via the Web box in the Translate task pane.
The word I'm looking for isn't in the dictionary.

Make sure that the correct dictionary is selected in the Dictionary list in the Translate task pane.
- Try looking up the singular form of nouns (for example, "ox" instead of "oxen") and the infinitive form of verbs (for example, "run" instead of "ran").
