Insert a text box

1. On the Drawing toolbar, click Text Box .
2. Click or drag in your document where you want to insert the text box.

   When you insert a text box, a drawing canvas appears around it, but you can drag the text box off the canvas if you want.

Tip

You can use the options on the Drawing toolbar to enhance a text box ù for example, to change the fill color ù just as you can with any other drawing object.
