Copying and pasting

You can copy and paste to do the following tasks:

• Insert clips into your documents.
• Import clips into Clip Gallery.
• Organize your clips in Clip Gallery.

If copying and pasting are new for you, this is how to do it:

1. Select the clip or clips you want by:
   • Clicking a single clip.
   • Pressing the CTRL key while clicking individual clips.

     –OR–

   • Pressing the SHIFT key while clicking the first and last of a series of clips.
2. Press CTRL+C or click the Copy button:

   

3. Click where you want the clips to go and press CTRL+V or click the Paste button:

   

Tips

• In Clip Gallery, right-click a category or a folder, and then select Paste.
• In some applications, the Paste command appears on the Edit menu.
