Keywords can be used to search for your clip. See Searching for clips by description for more information.

To enter or change a keyword

1. Select the clip using the right mouse button (right-click) and click Clip Properties.
2. Click the Keywords tab.
3. To remove a keyword, select that keyword and click the Remove Keyword button.
4. To add keywords, click the New Keyword button, and then type the keywords you want to add.

Tips

• When importing clips in most modes of Clip Gallery, the Clip Properties dialog box is brought up for you, so start at step 2.
• Some punctuation may not be acceptable in a keyword. Acceptable punctuation varies depending on your input locale.
• Clip properties will appear dimmed if they are in a different language than the one installed by your operating system and the characters cannot be translated. You will not be able to edit these properties.
• Multiple-word keywords may be broken up into separate words when you enter them. You can still search for them by typing in the words you entered in the Search for clips text box.
