Clip Gallery cannot locate clip?
When Clip Gallery cannot locate a file you have requested, it means that the location of the file has changed. You may have moved or removed the file, or changed your hardware configuration (for example, added a new disk drive, changing the drive volume to a different letter designation).
When the Cannot Locate Clip dialog box appears:
- If you know the new location of the file, click Update Location and browse to the new location of the clip. If you don't know where to browse for the clip:
- Go to the Windows Start menu, point to Find, and click Files or Folders.
- Type or paste the file name in the Named text box.
- Select the drive or removable media in the Look in text box.
- Click the Find Now button.
- If the clip is found, browse to or type in the new location in the Select a new location dialog box.
- If the clip is gone and you wish to remove the preview of this clip from Clip Gallery, click Remove this Clip.
- If you wish to ignore this error, click Cancel.
