To see a large preview of a picture clip
Note Preview is only available for clips on the Pictures tab.
- Click the clip you want to preview.
- On the Pop-up menu, click the Preview clip button:
- If the clip cannot be found, you will be prompted to insert a disk or other removable media, or to browse to its current location.
Tips
- Once the Preview window is open, you can click or use the arrow keys to make another clip appear in the Preview window.
- To resize the preview and window, click the sizing handle in the lower-right-hand corner and drag it to the size you want. File types that do not preserve their image quality when you stretch them beyond their original size (graphics with extensions such as .gif, .jpg, and .bmp) can only be enlarged to their actual size. Other graphic formats (such as .wmf) can be made larger than their actual size.
- To move the Preview window, click the title bar and drag the window to where you want to locate it on your screen.
- You can close the Preview window at any time by clicking the Close button on the title bar of the Preview window.
