To replace an existing picture clip in your document

Some Microsoft applications retain a link to Clip Gallery that allows you to replace a picture clip in one operation.

  1. Double-click the clip in your document that you want to replace. If the application supports Replace then Clip Gallery will launch. When Clip Gallery launches, the clips shown will be similar in subject matter or style to the clip you are replacing. (If Clip Gallery does not launch, then your application does not support Replace.)
  2. In Clip Gallery, click the clip that you want to add to your document.
  3. On the Pop-up menu, click the Insert clip button:

    Insert Clip

  4. If the clip cannot be found, you will be prompted to insert a disk or other removable media, or to browse to its current location.
