Reregistering Clip Gallery on your computer
When you install Clip Gallery, it makes entries in your computer's Windows registry. Sometimes installing a new program, or updating an existing program, will make a change in your computer's registry. If you are having problems running Clip Gallery, you can reregister it in your Windows registry and that may fix the problem.
To reregister Clip Gallery
- Go to the Windows Start menu, point to Find, and click Files or Folders.
- Type Artgalry.exe in the Named text box.
- Select the drive in the Look in text box. See Switching to another folder or drive for more information.
- Click the Find Now button.
- When Artgalry.exe is found, double-click on it. You will get the message: Clip Gallery is now configured to run on your computer, when registration is complete.
Tip
- It is possible to get the message that Clip Gallery is now configured to run on your computer when it did not complete the process in the following circumstance: if you are running on Windows NT 4.0 and you do not have write access to your registry. If you need to reregister Clip Gallery, be sure you have write access (or administrator privileges which include write access).
