- 11/15/96 - You can meet me, Michael Moncur (author of the book and this site) at COMDEX/Fall 96. I'll be doing two book signing
appearances. The first is Wednesday, November 20th from 11:30 to noon; the second is Thursday the 21st from 2:30 to 3:00. Both will be at the
MacMillan Computer Publishing booth in the Sands Expo center, booth #S3370, upper level. Hope to see you there!
- 10/24/96 - Netscape supports ActiveX? Apparently they will. See their press release for details; it looks like they're considering the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" approach...

- 9/5/96 - According to this CNET article, Netscape plans to release a beta version of Navigator 4.0 (code name: Galileo) in mid-October 1996. Also, Microsoft plans to release a beta version of MSIE 4.0 in mid-October. Surprised?
- 7/18/96 - Microsoft has decided that its implementation of JavaScript (found in MSIE 3.0) is now called Jscript. Functionally, it's similar to Netscape 2.0's version of JavaScript. For more information, see Microsoft's JScript pages.
