The ODBC Administrator may be started from either the ODBC program group or the control panel. * System Data Source Names (DSN) The InterBase ODBC driver now supports system DSNs * ODBC Conformance Levels The InterBase ODBC driver is ODBC 2.5 compliant. It supports API Level 1 and Core SQL Grammar. For specific ODBC calls that are supported, refer to the InterBase ODBC Driver on-line help. * Limitations and Known Problems This version of the InterBase ODBC Driver does not support array datatypes. ______________________________ Internet Developer Information * InterBase is now compatible with Microsoft's Information Server * The Java client for InterBase (InterClient) can now be downloaded from Borland's web site at http://www.borland.com/interbase/interclient _____________________ Known Issues WISQL and ISQL both require that your TMP environment variable is set and points to a valid directory on your machine. If this is not set or the directory it points to does not exist, WISQL and ISQL may not work properly. Accessing InterBase tables via ODBC which contain character fields which are declared as being longer than 255 characters may not work properly under some circumstances. ---------------------------END OF READIB.TXT-------------------------
