What is this all about

The Unoffical Delphi Developers FAQ, is a collection of code snippets, ideas, tips and tricks as can be found in the several Delphi newsgroups and on the Delphi Mailing lists 'Delphi-talk' and 'Delphi-L'.

All I did was to collect the tid-bits I liked or could use, or the ones I thought I might use in a word document.

After a couple of month, it amounted to about 100 pages and I posted it in one of the newsgroups. There the request came to convert it into HTML. I did that and this is the result.

The problem is that I do not collect all here is.

So, if you see something that is of interest, not in the UDDF, send it to me and I will incorporate it in the new version.

I will try to upload a new version every month.

If you want to put a link to this site, and want to have a small graphic to go with it, it is downloadable here UDDF LOGO

Who is this Graphical Gnome anyway

I'm a Senior Software Engineer at a enginering company in the Netherlands. I'm programming since the age of 15 (1976), so you can calculate my age.

The work I do and most like is programming in whatever language is the best to do the job in. The last time I calculated the number of languages I made programs in, I came to the number of 39. Number 40 will be Java.

The name Graphical Gnome comes from the fact that I like computer graphics and computer animations. And it has a better ring to it then Rob den Braasem.

Please do not send requests for help directly to my E-Mail address. I have a job and I have to earn some money. Just put you question in the newsgroups and the answers will pour in.
