Wire

Description

Wires connect circuit components together.

To connect two components together, a wire must have its end points directly on top of the end points of the components. A wire is not connected to the end point of a component that just happens to land somewhere in the middle of the wire.

For example, here are three resistors A, B, and C

The wire connects A and C, but does not connect to B.

To connect all three resistors, two wires must be used - one from A to B and another from B to C. This image shows all three resistors connected.

Notice the visible difference between these two images - you can see the ends of the wires connecting to B in the second image.
