═══ 1. Installing the IBM Internet Connection for OS/2 ═══ Installing the IBM* Internet Connection for OS/2* is simple. When you insert the first Internet Connection for OS/2 diskette in your diskette drive and type a:\install, the Install Internet Connection for OS/2 window is displayed. 1. On this window, specify the drive and directory to which you want to install the Internet Connection for OS/2. The drive you select should have at least 10.5Mb of free space. The default is C:\TCPIP. Warning: DO NOT install the Internet Connection for OS/2 over an existing TCP/IP. The Internet Connection for OS/2 will not coexist with other LAN-based TCP/IP programs. 2. After you have specified the drive, select the Install push button. A second window is displayed. This window contains a listbox, which displays the names of the files as they are being installed, and a progress indicator, which shows the percentage of completion for the installation.
